compiler and install notes say it requires glib 2.8 and the current version is 2.28.2

Cannot Compile liblqr-1-0.4.1

I tried to compile liblqr-1-0.4.1 today on Mac OSX Tiger via standard Unix configure, make, make install. However, it complained that glib 2 must be >= 2.8 and the most current glib is 2.28.2. Your notes about install also say glib 2 must be >= 2.8.

What version of glib do you have installed on your system? Did you install the glib development files (i.e. the headers) as well? Are they placed in a location where configure (via pkgconfig) can find them? What is the exact message you get?
